Six members of Pen and Keyboard Writers were hosted by Barnes & Noble UCO ( the University of Central Oklahoma, Edmond) to sign books at the campus bookstore.
Attending was the groups vice president Jim Martin, who writes as Joe Scavetti and who organized the book signing. Jim retired from UCO about two years ago. He signed copies of his books The Legend of Shiloh Woods and Reflections of the Future.
Evelyn Wilson-Martin, who writes under the name E.H. McEachern, brought her book Missing Emma: a Jenny Tallchief Novel. Evelyn also retired from UCO and worked with Jim to organize the event.
Janet K. Brown, an email member of the writing group, attended, driving from Wichita Falls, Texas, with her young adult book Victoria and the Ghost.
Vivian Zabel, president of the group, brought three of her books for the signing: Prairie Dog Cowboy, Stolen, and Midnight Hour. Vivian is a former UCO student.
Jacque Graham, an UCO alumni and contributor to Walking the Earth: Life's Perspectives in Poetry, is the group's reporter and co-founder with Vivian Zabel.
