We tried to video the meeting and writing workshop 1st session with my small camera, not knowing it would only tape for 30 minutes. Therefore, we have the business meeting and the beginning of the workshop on tape. I will outline the rest of the workshop.
Hopefully, by next month someone will show me how to use my laptop, and we can video the whole meeting and workshop, or we'll make two tapes.
One problem, to upload a video on the site, I had to upgrade the site. Anyone who can/will donate a few dollars would be virtually hugged by me.
Now for the video, followed by the outline and "assignment."

We first covered where to get ideas: reading, hearing, experiencing (our experiences or someone else's), or having an idea pop in our heads.
Next, find what information is needed: research, brain storm, or imagine.
Organize material: storyline, outline, take notes, have "movie" in one's head, synopis, plot & characters (fiction), events &/or people (nonfiction), timeline.
Have "start" to attract reader: hook, thesis (nonfiction), and/or title.
